Slow Fashion

Life in the slow lane is incredible and we are proud be a part of the slow fashion movement.

WHAT DOES THIS MEAN?

Our garments are designed with longevity in mind, from the fabric choices, the colours and designs, to the way the garments are made.  We work with small batch, artisan production that uses a mix of technology and craftsmanship, with hand finishing touches and corrections.

This ethos prevents over production, over consumption and ultimately reduces waste. It is also better for the well-being of the shopper, having beautifully crafted garments they enjoy wearing time after time without the pressure of having to replace it constantly.

Unfortunately, many brand now build in obsolescence intentionally in the form of design, trend or construction to drive new purchases for the next season

Unfortunately, many brand now build in obsolescence intentionally in the form of design, trend or construction to drive new purchases for the next season.  At Wild Saint London our garments are all built to last not built to fall apart.

Our social media campaigns are also based on this slow ethos.  You will notice we intentionally repeat looks in our campaigns and reuse scarves from previous campaigns. We want to normalise repeating looks and outfits for the wellness of people and planet.

Designed and built to last, not to be obsolete in a season
